FAQs
How many security zones does the Ezlo Protect have?
Virtually unlimited number of "zones". Because we have the ability to use Zigbee, Zwave and 345 MGhz Sensors, you will find the number of security devices you can add to the system will be more than you will probably ever need. I.E. a Zigbee network can have up to 60,000 devices in it!
Is the HUB compatible with other security systems?
Because the Ezlo Protect HUB is in itself a security system, we have chosen to not integrate with another alarm system.
Do you have a Hardwire Translator so I can install traditional hardwired sensors?
We are currently in the process of integrating 3rd party translators, both Hardwire and wireless.
Do you integrate with the Ring Doorbell?
No, due to the proprietary communications protocols required to integrate, we are not able to integrate the Ring Doorbell. This is typically true with all doorbell cameras, including our own VistaCam 1203 Doorbell which is the fastest in the industry, connecting in 1-2 seconds. It can also be connected via wifi or an ethernet cable.
Do you integrate with the Nest Thermostat?
